Synology FlashStation FS3410: New 24-bay NAS unveiled

The Synology FS3410 is the latest in the FlashStation family of all-flash network attached storage servers. The FS3410 NAS is primarily aimed at businesses and professional users and is equipped with 24 bays. The Synology FlashStation FS3410 NAS is supposed to enable fast execution of I/O-intensive applications.

The FS3410 NAS is powered by the versatile Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system. The FS3410 NAS has four 1 Gigabit LAN ports and two 10 GbE ports, and it can be expandable to 25 GbE or 40 GbE with PCIe 3.0 expansion cards. The NAS features an Intel Xeon D-1541 8-core (16 threads) processor running at 2.1 GHz, maxing out at 2.7 GHz, and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, which can optionally be expanded up to 128 GB.

Synology FlashStations include comprehensive applications to back up and recovery VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual disks. Users can protect their existing infrastructure through Active Backup for Business and rapidly restore VMs to different systems or even to the FS3410 itself.

If you find yourself in a situation like my wife where her hard drive decided to take a dump and threaten to leave her with the loss of precious files, then I highly recommend you look up ACE Data Recovery.
