How Is My Data Recovered?

Retrieving missing files from Lenovo ThinkPad laptop

Certified technicians in ACE Data Recovery lab understand perfectly how different file systems work which is very helpful when it comes to complex cases of data loss, such as the following one. Trevor, a resident of Carrollton, TX, 75006, reported serious data loss on his Lenovo ThinkPad laptop caused by OS auto-upgrade. To get as many important files as possible back, Trevor contacted ACE Data Recovery support center.

In order to identify the important files on the laptop drive, ACE Data Recovery decided to rebuild indexes responsible for folders and file structure creation. To do that, specialists used powerful hardware tools developed onsite. After the file system was fixed, ACEs managed to identify critical files that could be recovered.

Carefully all intact files were retrieved from customer's Lenovo ThinkPad hard drive. Upon verification, a copy of recovered user data was saved to an alternative portable file storage and sent to Carrollton, TX

Phil, a member of Contents Recovery Experts, Downers Grove, IL, 60515, sent Western Digital WD7500BPVX-60JC3T0 laptop HDD to ACE Data Recovery after he had faced serious problems with his computer. ACE Data Recovery experts examined the drive in order to find out what's the root of the issue.

The examination indicated that Phil's WD7500BPVX-60JC3T0 HDD had the Head Rack Assembly (HRA) failure. That mechanism is responsible for proper read/write heads functionality. When damaged, it may result in magnetic platter damage and irretrievable data corruption. To make data recovery possible, ACEs got to swap failed drive's parts with their exact match taken from company's Physical Drive Library.

Upon successful completion of the operation, ACE Data Recovery engineers managed to create an image of the Western Digital WD7500BPVX-60JC3T0 laptop drive. Eventually, all intact files were retrieved from defective item, copied to an alternative data storage device and sent to Downers Grove, IL.
